The city of Prague, it unveiled a prototype of a new shelter for public transport on Palacký Square in Prague, the appearance of which came from last year’s design competition. As representatives of the city told reporters today, it will be tested by April, after which mass production should begin. The new shelters are intended to replace the existing furnishings, the majority of which are owned and operated by JCDecaux under a 1994 contract. Now the municipality is preparing a tender for the operator after 2021, when the contract expires.
