Prague is considering legal action against JCDecaux. It owns and operates most public transport shelters in the city. The contract for their operation expires next summer. JCDecaux said it would build 300 new stops at its expense if politicians extend the contract for five years. Otherwise, the company runs the risk of dismantling the stops.
