iDnes.cz: On Thursday, the Municipal Court in Prague will reconsider the case of JCDecaux, its technical director Tomáš Tenzer and former Deputy Mayor of Prague 1 Michal Valenta (ODS) over the lease of advertising space in the metro. According to the public prosecutor, Tenzer used his influence on the City Hall of Prague 1 to secure the lease of space. The case concerns the rental of so-called citylights in the lobby of the Staroměstská metro station, which JCDecaux received from the City Hall of Prague 1. The indictment claimed that Valenta, on the basis of his contacts at the town hall, favored the company and received 200,000 crowns reported as a reward for consulting activities. At the time in question, he was a member of the property commission of the city district, in the past he served as its deputy mayor.
