Seznamzpravy.cz The Prague City Society of Technology of the Capital City of Prague (THMP) started replacing the first shelters at the public transport stop in Stodůlky, which was previously operated by JCDecaux. The foundations are ready and the first new shelters will arrive this week. There will be stops in other parts of Prague. JCDecaux expired the contract for the operation of furniture at the end of June, the gradual exchange for city shelters is to take about two years. The French company JCDecaux operates shelters in the metropolis under a 1994 contract, in exchange for their provision and maintenance, and the city can rent advertising on them. The former management of the municipality decided not to extend the contract, the current one decided that the city would buy its own furniture. Subsequently, the city organized a design competition.
